Conference attendees will hear how this world-class packager has employed advanced technology and operator training to contribute to Total Quality Management (TQM) and Total Productivity Management (TPM).

Nestlé's Thomas Doney, a Senior Research Engineer at the food and beverage company's R & D center in Ohio, will relate his company's progress in developing automated performance monitoring of packaging lines. Doney's presentation will underscore the importance of good performance data to achieving manufacturing excellence.

Senior Group Manager Rick Van Dyke offers a behind-the-scenes look at Frito-Lay's packaging operations. Van Dyke will reveal the business benefits this giant snack food manufacturer experienced by integrating their packaging operations. His discussion will address questions about how MES fits into the equation and the value of OMAC guidelines.
